What is Diwali?
Diwali is known as the festival of lights, marking the victory of good over evil, light over darkness, and the beginning of a new year in Hindu tradition. The theme of Diwali remains the same for everyone, which is to come together and have fun.
Diwali is all about brightness and colour. Healesville Rotary will create a festive atmosphere with plenty of dances & other cultural performances to symbolize hospitality and prosperity for the coming celebrations. The artistic and colourful Diwali cultural performance can spark the creativity of our vibrant community.
While Diwali is a Hindu tradition, the festival of lights is for anyone and everyone! We welcome all families and community members to come and celebrate this festival on November 5th 2022.
